Dog Trouble Foundation
Dog Trouble Foundation
Rescue | Rehabilitate| Rehome
The Dog Trouble Foundation was established by Jo Cottrell, owner of Dog Trouble Behaviour, Training and Wellness Centre, to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pre-owned and rescued dogs.
Rescue dogs are accepted into the Foundation in cases where Dog Trouble clients realise that they are not a good match for their dog, despite their rehabilitation, and ask if we can help to rehome their dog.
The Foundation also rescues dogs from Zakynthos, Greece in collaboration with Zante Strays, selecting dogs that need rehabilitation to improve their chances of being adopted.
Since it was first launched, the Dog Trouble Foundation has been raising money through the annual Family Fun Dog Show and monthly Charity Pack Walks to support various costs associated with these goals, such as:
-
Medical expenses for spaying/neutering selected rescue dogs
-
Appropriate holistic and homeopathic therapies
-
Workshops and training
Our Pack Walks take place around the Dog Trouble Behaviour, Training and Wellness Centre, Wokingham, each month. These Pack Walks are an ideal opportunity for people to walk their dogs on a lead with other balanced dogs.
You can check out our Rescue pages to keep up to date with all the latest Dog Trouble Foundation projects, including support for rescue centres and our programme to support sterilisation of street dogs on the Greek Island of Zakynthos – Kalamaki Dog Aid.
